I have created this site to give students and parents the web resources to research
scholarship, financial, college/university, and vocational/technical school information.
Use the menu items to the left to navigate through the various areas. Check back often,
as I will be posting more information as I receive it. Scholarship announcements are sent to
me weekly during the school year. These announcements are posted in the "Available scholarships"
section of this website. I will also be posting test preparation and testing dates for the SAT/ACT in
the SAT, ACT section of this site. You can stop by the BLHS Career Information Center (CIC),
or the SHS Guidance office for more scholarship and career information, or contact your counselor.
I encourage all Sumner School District students to apply for community scholarships. This program has many great opportunities to obtain financial assistance. The Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation works with community members to create and support these scholarships. The deadline for community scholarships is in February. Be sure to check the community scholarship section of this website for more information and how to apply.
Apply more – Get more! The more eligible scholarships you apply for, the more funds you are likely to get! There are about 2.4 million scholarship offers, over $14 million available. So you have every prospect of success!
Do not wait to begin your search for scholarships. Start in your freshman year. If you have waited, start now!
